Walking on the Water

When Jesus came walking on the sea in the fourth watch of the night, Peter said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” Jesus said, “Come,” and Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to go to Jesus (Matthew 14:28-29). In this game you take each of those steps yourself. A needle swings back and forth on the faith gauge at the bottom, and you can only take a step when it is inside the green faith zone.

How to play

Press the step button or tap the screen while the needle is inside the green faith zone. Stopping in the gold center is an even better step.
Miss the zone and your foot slips, so you sink a little. When all three water drops are full, you fall in.
Now and then the wind blows. In the wind the needle speeds up and the faith zone gets narrower.
Walk twelve steps to reach Jesus, and He reaches out His hand and takes hold of you.

Bible background

While walking on the water, Peter saw the wind, was afraid and began to sink, crying out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, saying, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:30-31). That is why the game does not end when you fall in. Just as the Bible says, Jesus reaches out, lifts Peter up, and Peter walks again.
